Hey ppl.. Been neglecting my blog for quite a while =x Busy with mapling and Tjcsb lol. Shall do a short update. Yup. Holidays quite sian actually, nth to do de. Besides Mapling, which i lvled to Lv 48 today =D, still got band. JC band really very very different from sec school band lol, say discipline, mannerism, music standard( o'cos ). Ya. Dunnid to elaborate on the music standard part ya? The band is much much pro'er and more professional o' cos. Control of discipline a lil slack i guess, cos maybe we are all "grown-ups" so dunnid to scold, nag etc. How nice. Just listen to what ur ldrs have to say, follow, if got any unagreement just express ur views. Ya. Very democratic. Best part is the teachers get very little say as to how the band is run, alot of autonomy is given to the band ldrs. Mannerism wise, quite shocking at first lo. Ppl go toilet dunnid ask for permission de, just go. zZz. Yea. As in even conductor is there also can go, just stand up and go. =.= Very rude but ya. Have to get used to it. I got used to it. Wt still cant accept this method so he until now during pracs nvr go toilet de. =X The reason why maybe the ppl dun care is (my theory) : The conductor emphasizes alot on the musicians (us) , they see their jobs as less tiring so try their best to let us. My theory maybe wrong but can see that Mr Lin treats the band very well, play a short passage also must say thank you to us. =) Arwwwellls, I'm still adapting to the new environment...

Hey ppl!!! Back in Singapore ytd from thailand. Was tired ytd so nvr update. So today then update lo. The trip was ok. More of eating than shopping. Last yr bought more stuffs though, this yr the clothing and stuffs' design not say very good so didnt buy as much as last yr's trip. Went with my two cuzs and two aunts. Took alot of photos, esp the new thailand airport. It looks quite identical to Singapore's airport cept it's alil uncompleted i think. Yup, Let the pictures do the talking bah. Lazy to type. =X

Just back not quite long ago from tjcsb tune in. Met weitheng at tampines control at arnd 8 30. I was late lo, was supposed to meet at 8. Luckily, the waiting time for the bus and train not long, so we weren't late. Reach tj at 9 am. Mingled with new faces and ppl frm e same section for awhile, then started having games. Games... Ok la not too bad, quite funny though. While playing wacko, junjie got forfeited then kena pillar. Sad case.. Ya, then play a few games here and there, then went for lunch. Went Kfc to eat with the section. Zz. Weitheng sad, so loner, lucky tpts still got jj. Lol. Yup, and FINALLY, band prac. The standard of the band and playing is like on a completely different level frm secondary school. Too hiong alr. The student conductor conducted us for American graffiti(not the one we play), Howl's moving castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Celtic child and X'massimo. All the songs veh nice but very hard. Then after which the band's conductor, Mr Lin came. Played el camino real and Cavetown and X'massimo again. X'massimo was a new piece. Christmas song lai de. Very cool arrangement lol. Imagine Jingle bells in salsa... Sth like tt. El cam was played slowly, cos alot of us new to the song. Cavetown... ZomgzWtFbbQ! Lol. Hiongster song lol. Trumpet notes like all above high g. WHOLE SONG!! Plus funny funny rhythms. ZZzZ. Actually all the songs standard more or less like el cam, some even more difficult. Weitheng played until finger shake for the first time in his entire band life. Imagine how much he ran(on the clarinet =.=). I play until embouchure cmi liao. Lucky ytd went back to prac for awhile if not today sure cannot play de. Yup. The above songs most likely will be the repertoire for Tj concert on the 16th of Dec, saturday. Very shiok! Must come. lol. Very sad onli me and wt frm ahs playing. Very challenging lo the pieces. Must try urself to see.....

Lol. Very long nvr update. Sry took so long after O's to update. Haha. Was busy Mapling. =D Alright. Where should i start?? Hmmmm.. Shall comment abt the papers and give some valuable tips and advice to the future sec 4s. The standard of O level is somewhat of the PSLE standard of secondary school. So that means..... Yea. But cannot dun study at all. Still must. If not cannot go to the JC of yer choice. Guess that Baboon is right. We're the top 25% blah blah, must also leave as the top 25%, cos it's PSLE standard as i said. Chem was tricky, both maths were ok, SS was tough(as usual for all years). Elect hist not bad, free style!! Last paper ma so i didnt study much. =X Anyhows, all the papers finish le, no holiday homework somemore, so I'll just maple, maple, and maple till the cows come home and mayb get my embouchure back soon. =)

Anyway, i stumbled on a very digusting clip when i was searching for this song on youtube. Guess what. Rodeo cowboys brokeback style!! Wa liew, darn digusting la! I felt like puking at that time. *disgust felt as i am typing* Lol. Search for that video at your own risk under tags brokeback sometimes when we touch, u'll sure find it. First, a picture to paint a thousand words..

Yay. So fast one thousand words already. Lol. =.= Yup, here are some pics i took during the outing yesterday. Other pics will upload to mc2 soon, i hope. Wanna apologize for the last minute minute notice. Sorry ar. No time to go plan, so very messy. Quite little ppl came, majority XX, only got 3 XY. Alot of ppl wanna study. Horhor, last min study. Sad.. But anyhows, we still had alot of fun!! Merfy and I reached the place late cos on the way we saw fire. See the last pic. It's a fireman extinguishing the flame, and i caught in on my camera. =D The fire thingy is annual already, every year also have one, that's why the forest near my house so 'botak'. =S Yup. We arrived at the place. Then the XYs went to buy sparklers. Combed the whole central then managed to get a good deal of 15 packets of sparklers for 4 bucks. Cheap rite? But in the end nvr use finish. Haha. After the XYs came back, we began savouring mooncakes. Yum yum... Tried the Cranberry one. It tasted unique, but still can't beat the almond bak gua mooncake merfy let me try when i went to his house =P Then we went to play with candles. And the fun part, making ROCKETS!!!! We made around 5 to 6 rockets. But none of them flew. Sad. The first few rockets we made were taped with normal tape, then all no power. Then we tried insulating tape. Got more power, but still cannot fly. I remember one rocket where we spammed the tape. Burn finish look like kebab lol. All of us stayed till around 11 cos the haze was getting bad. Jialat. PSI now is 150. Hopefully it doesn't rise anymore. Take care of your healths ppl especially those who are taking exams next week. Cannot afford to fall ill.

Chim'ology: Something unfathomable, must not be one-sided..

Ponder.. Ponder.... Ponder.........

Lol. "Save the last dance for me" just finished its last episode this monday. Very cool drama serial. Very nice theme songs too. The couple in the serial very lovey-dovey, of course there are many obstacles they face on the way. The serial is about a story about Yingxiu and XuanYu a.k.a Wu Jiyi(in chinese means no memories). XuanYu met up with an accident and got saved by Yingxiu. Apparently, he had lost all his memories so he was named Wu Jiyi. Lol. He stayed at the lodging house owned by Yingxiu and her dad and eventually, ri jiu sheng qing(day long grow relationship =.=). Yup. Just when they both wanna get engaged though they had disputes that Yingxiu is afraid that he might have a wife, Jiyi met up with yet ANOTHER accident. Minor one though i think. Then he forgot the 1 year spent with Yingxiu but remembered the past.<---- Twist number 1. He went back to his family and he had a fiancee who was so happy that he came back. So life returned to normal for Jiyi/Xuanyu, leaving poor little Yingxiu over alone at the lodging house, since her dad died not long before. Yingxiu was devastated but she went to Seoul to look for her Jiyi. Fate played her but finally she managed to find him and in order to get closer to him, she even worked under him but the Xuanyu who recovered his memories hated her. Meanwhile, the marriage btw Xuanyu and his fiancee was in preparations. However, the Xuanyu who recovered his memories had no likings for his fiancee. Instead, he began to fall in love with Yingxiu, after finding how a nice a girl she was, as Xuanyu not Jiyi. Fiancee got jealous and wanted Xuanyu badly. She even went to the extent of committing suicide. Poor little Yingxiu had to suffer again by leaving Xuanyu. <--- Twist number 2. She made up an excuse that she wanted to be with him because of $$. Sad.. Xuanyu got very sad but at the same time had to accept the marriage because fiancee's father had the power to save his company which had fallen under his best friend who also liked Yingxiu. =S Eventually, he got back his memory of the 1 year and began looking for Yingxiu just when he was about to get married... After that, many things happened, like Yingxiu got crippled, company returned to him and stuff. Wont divulge anymore go watch yourself. The last episode is very touching. I cried........NOT. Lol. My mother cried and her two sons laughed at her =P Highly reccomended to those who like Korean Drama.Can watch on youtube. Upcoming korean drama airing soon: Princess Hours, Channel U. Will be nice also i think...

Very long nvr blog already, although prelims are over =X Currently into a new game: Pirate King Online. A Singaporean game, so nt lag, but still abit lag cos it's still open beta. The gameplay and interface very simillar to Ragnarok Online but the style of the game a little different. No fixed builds, have to go experiment yourself. The graphics ok la, not too bad. Show you all a screen shot. =P

3 school days have passed since after prelims. Wanna noe my prelim results??? Not good... But not too bad also. Quite ok with it actually. Made a significant improvement. Must really work harder for my O's though. Hopefully can get single digit, cos my mom promised me a big reward if i get single digit. =P Maybe can ask for a new bike, new comp??? Dunno. See how. My grades for all subjects more or less the same, arnd B3 to A2 like that. Gahhh...
Today had minature concert. Yeah!! First "independent" thing done together as a batch. Played Singapore Rhaps(brings back loads of memories ya?), Enka 1 & 2, Lion king and many others. Can't say it was a fantastic performance but the concert ended successfully though. Yay! Ended up playing drumset for the last few pieces. Played from memory, so..... Ya.. Haha. Very difficult to coordinate lo, especially the foot. So irritating. Anyhows, enjoyed playing tgt with the sec 4s. Perhaps, today's performance is one of the last time we'll be playing together. Hopefully, can come together again and jam. Oh ya, have to thank the group of ppl who bought us flowers. So thoughtful. Thank you very much!!!

Lol. I wont swear. Must be a gentleman like jon dude and accept reality. Hady won hands down sad. Too bad can't find out the vote difference. =( But i know jon dude lost by a small amount. Have to admit that Hady has great vocals. Power range and stuff. If he undergoes training, he will become better. Anyhows, jon lost, sad to all jon fans out there but dun worry. He's got the potential. Like what Ken said,"You could be a regional star and your journey has just begun.." I think he's hinting something. Yeah, something like, got chance to develop you into a star. But the english singing industry in Singapore still not that established yet or should i say has greater competition out in the world. There are many great english singers out there ya? Alright enough of SI.
Today got some papers back: chem, bio, a math, ss, chinese. Can't say I'm satisfied with my marks cos in fact it's not up to my expectations of myself. Arww wells. Hopefully my L1R5 improves at the very least...

Darn, my Geforce FX 5200 fried. Lol. Took me ages to figure that out. Although there were signs that images were lagging bad and stuff. Lucky i kept my good old graphics card, ze MX 420. Ancient. But no choice, have no other graphics card with me. Found out the problem when i re-installed maplestory. Wanted to play it today but the update screwed up, so i re-downloaded the whole client and re-installed it. Then got same problem. I plucked my graphics card and put it back in again. Still cannot. ZZZZ. Then i tried my old one. Finally.....

Arww wells. Battle fought. I am victorious!!! Dun think i'll be playing maple today. So late already. Oh ya. If you guys haven't noticed. I added a small cute little hitsugaya beside the skulls. Yeah. So cool. Hyourinmaru is actually an ice dragon. Hitsugaya is a talented boy genius in bleach. The youngest of all captains. Cool huh? And his Zanpakuto(soul slayer) is one of a kind. A katana with a star shaped crossguard. Haha. All non bleach fans must be blur blur right now. Spent the whole afternoon working on my new blogskin. Very satisfied with it. Yum yum. Just ate a snowskin mooncake. So nice. =D Raffles Hotel one hor dun play play. 1 piece $3.60 so expensive but nice. Got two flavours. One is Champagne the other is chocolate. Not totally that flavour, is actually lotus paste add champagne and the other add choc. The choc one very stupid. It's lotus with coco krunch lor. Only the champagne flavour is nice. Got macademia with cream with champagne flavour. *Drools* Yup, eating mooncake = lantern festival is arnd the corner. Hopefully got band outing, go sunplaza play candle. Also must have rocket making competition. Last year, we made a rocket but it didn't fly, maybe pressure not enough. This year must make a rocket that can fly. =P Stuff it with loads of cracklers. Bwahahahaha. Went back to band to play instru with e sec 4s. Alot of us lost touch alr but not to worry, will get it back someday. Have to get it back fast too cos minature concert approaching. Prelims are going to end! =D Dunno how i will fare for it, hopefully not too bad. Today came home extremely early and i mean extremely. School just finish one period, i on my way home already =P. Mcq paper today 1 hr only. Tomorrow the same thing, summore dun nid to go to school that early cos paper at 2nd shift. Watched the whole of 'High School Musical' today. Extracted frm youtube. The storyline ok ok but the songs are good. Yeah. But the vocals abit fake, maybe is digitally mastered that's why. Darn, i wanna acquire perfect pitch. Acquire already then arrange songs much easier. If not have to struggle using sibellius, so chim. But i will figure out how to use it some day..

Today got E maths paper 1 and Elect history paper. E math paper is 2 hrs!! Paper one summore lor. Sad. But it's all logic and easy thinking compared to all the other problems from A math. Yup so sorta easier. But still looonnnnggggg. Both math paper combined 4hrs EACH ok? No time to check de. Confirm. So must do with caution. Yeah. Left 2 more paper 1s, 1hr each YAY. Then thurs go back band rm and chill. ;) Alrighty, off to do some music scouting =P

Lolies. Yesterday, my brother played with my phone, trying to 'hack' and unlock my keypad. Dunno what 'Mr-smartypants' did, he managed to change my security code without even unlocking the key pad. =O My phone getting a little cranky already. Time to change =D My phone used about two yaers already if im not wrong. Maybe get a sony ericsson one or get some N-series phone. We'll see. After O's then go buy. Oh ya, continuing with the story. Wanted to go down to nokia shop at century square to fix my phone. Walked all the way to the bus-stop. Tried various code combinations and finally my old code. Guess what?? It worked. Lol!! Dunno why there's a temporary change of my code. But who cares, my phone is working as per normal now. Made a wasted trip to the bus-stop =.= Studied history in the morning and just now. Such a dry subject. Anyhows, need to do well for tmr's elect humanities test cos chem ain't looking that good =(

Lol. Spent the whole of yesterday making my blogskin. Very tedious. Used adobe photoshop to process the skin. Superweisiong was also done on photoshop. Finally grasped the basics of photoshop. Yipee! It's a program with limitless capabillites. Got alot of functions. Have to slowly figure them out though. If have time and photos, then i will start wokring on new weisiong parodies =P Alright. Merfy went down to hong lim to see Dr Chee 'protest' yesterday. So dumb. The protestors were 'protest'ing for democracy and freedom of speech. Dunno about the details though. But they ain't the first protestors ever since the IMF. The first were a voiceless protest to protest against poverty, and to have basic speaking rights for poor people. The IMF is looking through this matter and giving more voting rights to developing countries like Turkey etc. Yeah, hopefully the poverty situation in the world can be alleviated after these IMF meetings...

Changed blog song again. =.= Changed to The Carnival of Venice, performed by Russian tpt'er Sergei Nakariakov. His sound and all very nice just that his posture is suxxors. Lol. Carnival is a very nice song so enjoy!!
Alrighty, went back to band room yesterday to check out xh's problem as well as play instru. Very long nvr play liao, very tiring. Summore ytd keep screaming high notes =X Anway, the pros say practising high notes can improve range =D, nvr forgetting the pedal notes also. Pedal notes are fun!! Checked van's and xh's sound yesterday, sorry no time check the rest of the section. After O's then see how bah. Both of em got almost the same problem, the 'stuck' sound. Told van to drop jaw, open embouchure and use more of air and buzzing. Told xh basically the same stuff and asked him to visualise and hear the difference between 'open' and 'stuck' sound. Hopefully both of them gets it. Band break for exams alr so dunno if they'll work on it at home. Got a piece of advice for the whole section though(apply to all brass players). Work on a comfortable basic embouchure where your sound is good. Then further develop from that embouchure. Basic idea is to have a fixed embouchure so that problems are easier to be corrected. Went to bach brass.com just now to check the difference between bach strad model 37 and 43. I played both models before, difference is that 43 requires more air than 37. The reason why this is so is because of the bore size. The bore is actually the cylinder tubing where it is smaller at the mp and larger towards the bell. Basically is the tube where the air passage is lor. 43 has a slightly larger bore than 37. But since tpts are long. The difference is multiplied so amount of air requried...... Yeah, do your calculations. Not advised to let juniors play 43 so suggesting to my to let xh change instrus, at the same time check the rest's instrus too. Better go remind her. Yup.

Prelims have gone by almost a week already, ending soon. Yipee! Most of my major papers are ok, left chemistry tomorrow. Need to get a distinction for that then can have a nice L1R5. Yeah. Can't wait for the papers to finish tomorrow then go to band see how's the band faring now. Close to a month without the sec 4s. At the same time check on my section and play my instru =P Changed blog song today. Title of the song is called 'Got to get u into my life'. Performed by Earth wind and fire. The beatles also performed it some time ago. Some oldie. Hady sang it for S.I. yesterday. Found the tune very familiar. It's one of the tunes in Music of the Beatles. So checked it out online. This song ain't about a girl, though the title and lyrics like directed to a girl. The song is actually about.......Marijuana. *Stumps* Lol. Fyi marijuana is a drug. Prohibited and banned of course! Songs full of 'Oooos' and stuff. Must be expressing the 'high' feeling after drug abuse. Anyhows, drug abuse is bad and is illegal. Don't try it =D Update on S.I.: Cutey-cutey-cute Jasmine officially out of the competition. Most improvement shown as a singer ok. Top 3 summore, good job Jasmine! Dun get misleaded by the title, not talkin about the game 'Black n white' but talking about my life these few days. Life these few days has been like black and white for me. Revising over and over again, looking at the same few pages of the textbooks, looking at notes, so borrriinnnng and dry. My life is devoid of colours!! Just text, text and more text. GaRrrRRrr.. Miss band loads, my instrument too. Will be going back on friday though. Check on my jnrs and fix xh's problem of his sound. The media has been advertising alot on the IMF event to be held sep 14 onwards. An event to discuss about poverty in other countries need to have so much ads meh? Anyways, you know the million smiles project thing? In order to 'extract' more smiles, Marina square giving away free coffee in exchange for smiles. Lol. Nt interested in the smiles part but interested in the free coffee! Nothing's better than enjoying a cup of kopi 'kao' =P Alrighty off to be, tomorrow still got two long papers..

I just found one very startling fact when i tagged on merfy's blog/webpage. Anw, I linked him already. You should check out his cool website. Got loads of funny stuff and alot of info on the pro. Yeah, back to topic. If you guys haven't found out, guess what? Today is the 5th aniv of the sep 11 incident. It is the day when the WTC in american went kaboom when an airplane hit the building and that it fell. Lives were lost. Loads. And when the WTC was hit, US president Mr. Bush was at a kindergarden telling a story to the kids. When he got the news, he was shocked. Everyone was... 5 years later, the kids at the kindergarden are of secondary level. Time really flies. Incidents do make time go by much faster. We should not take life for granted ppl. Learn to appreciate. Learn to cherish... Before it is too late..

Tomorrow is the start of sec 4s' prelims liao. Crap. Haven't finish studying everything yet but i have confidence that i will do ok though. The last leg of the 4 year race in secondary school has started, soon will be leaving school, leaving my beloved friends, my beloved teachers, and my beloved cca.. Lol. Sad =( Memories will be all that is left, will keep the memories in my heart. Enough of the sad stuff. Getting bored staying at home, nothing to do except study but no choice. Just chiong one more week and it will be all over, temporarily. Still got the final 100 m , the O levels!! After that hor, siao liao. Play like crazy. Woohoo. A little too early thinking about playing now. Hee. Just downloaded FileZilla and used ftp to upload file to website. Now my blog has the full 2nd suite in f 1st mvement liao. Yay! All thanks to the pro. I checked out his blog source and pondered why he could upload such large files to websites. Then i remembering him saying that use ftp will be better, so i dl'ed filezilla and tried. It worked! =D Seemed a little complicated at first for a computer novice like me but in the end still quite easy. Just connect to ftp site and start uploading. For the dian nao bai chi's who don't understand these concepts, just dl the programme and try. You'll pick it up as you go along. Alrighty then! Here's wishing all sec 4s good luck for prelims. Didn't study at all today. Spent the whole morning watching bleach with my brother. Ichigo has entered soul society. Lol. Those who nvr watch bleach wont understand. Wont explain to you guys either. Mwhahaha. Lunchtime went down to expo, cos got FOOD FAIR. *Drools* Haha. Im a born eater. Can eat alot de. Can't say im picky about food but i go for good food anyhows. This year's world food fair ain't that extravagant. Though Expo hall 5 looked extremely huge but the number of food stalls were little, compared to previous years. Last time as a kid i always remember going to food fair, to be a crowded event where u have to squeeze thru the crowd then can walk that kind. But this year a little different. The amount of people present, compared to other years is considerably lesser. Didn't need to squeeze through the crowd. Mayb go in the afternoon lesser ppl bah. Another bad point of the fair was the quality of the food. Become so-so liao. The vendors were selling more food, and the neglected the principle of "quality over quantity". Anyways, overall the food ok ok, there were still some good food though =D Ordered Bee hoon, Oyster 'mee sua', fish maw soup, assorted fried seafood dips, paper chicken( hot and ooiiishhhiii =P ). Shared with my mother though. Couldn't possibly finish all of the items i mentioned. Then went back and packet loads of dim-sum plus paper chicken =D. The dim sum is good i tell u, especially the paper chicken. They put a chicken wing in paper and fry in under hot oil. Then sell to ppl freshly cooked ones, the oil still dripping. Oooooiiiiiissshhhhiiii!!! Shan't go into the details of the taste and texture of the chicken. Lol. Cannot eat too much oily and fried stuff liao. Got a flu now. So poor thing rite? First, my mom got it, then pass to my brother, then finally my turn liao. Hopefully, will recover soon, before the exams. =O Prelims in 3 days f.y.i.......

Been studying a huge amount these few days. Haven't completely finished the whole syllabus though, too much to study already. Sad. Been into watching "Bleach" recently, episode 17 already ( the ep where renji came out ). The style of bleach is so naruto lol. Spirit power in bleach is like chakra in naruto. Then Ichigo resembles naruto alot as in the powers. Ichigo got lots of spirit power hidden in him whereas naruto has kyuubi in him which is equivalent to having a very large amount of chakra. Not much diff lor. Both series have their good and bad points though. One thing bad about bleach is the drawing of the hollows. They look so "ultraman-monster" like. Lol. At least naruto is ninja vs ninja =D Never mind shan't go into the details. Just finished watching singapore idol. Paul is out!! Sad to all paul fans. I personally feel that his singing style is very unique and the way he pronounces his words is very special. Maybe it's because of his family and upbringing and stuff. Arhh well. He's out anyways. Predicted that Jasmine would go though. Didnt know she got so many fans. Maybe because she is the only girl left that's why got more supporters. But she did improve tremendously ever since the start of her idol journey. Can't wait for the finals. Yeah! Finals between Hady and Jonathan. Woohoo.

Poof.... Here i am again blogging away. Clicking around aimlessly, dunno what to do, so blog lor. Studied quite a amount today, did loads of math, whole day do math, while listening to music =D Downloaded(heard actually) quite a number of songs online today.. Or was it yesterday? Lol. The holidays seem so typical. Heard scream machine by army blues, pilatus: mountain of dragons and many more.. All awesome songs. Scream machine, as the name suggests, has loads of trumpet screaming inside. Very cool, screamy =x, but professional recording. Yeah, highly recommended for all trumpeters =) Wonder when i will get a range like that. Hmmmm, train on more pedal tones like the pros said may do the trick. Dunno, after o's then try. Mwhahaha. Also realised that many pros use Vincent Bach 1 1/2 C mouthpieces. Similar to my 1 1/4 C, just that the tone produced on 1 1/2 is flatter and the rim is rounder. I want to get my hands on a 1 1/2 C or maybe a jazz mouthpiece.Hehe. Save money first then say...

Thanks to merfy, im able to put 2nd suite in f for my blog song. Previously the file size too big so cannot put. After using a program merfy recomended, Magix audio cleaning lab, i managed to cut a small portion of 1st mvment of 2nd suite in f. Enjoy! In love with music with loads of expression now. Though 1st movement of 2nd suite in f not tt expressive but the tune is super catchy, hear alot wont sian one, summore the eupho solo inside very very nice =D Today spent half a day outside with my mother then afternoon most of the time fiddling with the program that i downloaded. The program can enhance sound and edit sounds also. Very cool and professional. Will try to grasp how to use it soon, after o lvls. =x Listened to quite a number of band recordings today. Dunno why. Felt like listening to loads of music. Studied uber little today, maybe after blogging go study liao. Ok not maybe, will study!! Till nxt time.. .. ..

Mein Kampf

Lol. The post title goes out to the pro.. No la just joking. Ok mein kampf means my struggle for those who nvr go to the pro's blog. Yesterday, quarrelled whole day with my mother in order to go to band director's association the concert. It seemed like a futile struggle(chim). But in the end i managed to go! Woo! Nvr regret. Very good concert. The strength of the band is quite big. Horns alot. The woodwinds are very good. Trumpets mayb a little soft but overall the sound and balance of bda band is very very uber good. Played a wide selection of tunes and songs. Merry widow was awesome. The expression all the band directors gave is owning. Can really feel the song together with them. They were that good.. I think. Haha. Then there were many ensembles. Got trombone choir, horn ensemble, brass kinetics and clarinet ensemble. Brass kinetics was good. Trumpet the sound very very nice. Can whack all the high notes with good tone =) Changed my blog's song. Bohemian rhapsody too sad liao. Changed it to 2nd suite in F last movement. Sorry cannot put 1st movement cos too big the file. 2nd suite in F is a song consisting of many many folksongs. Total of 7 in the 4 movements. Last movement is a song abt a fantasy, very catchy tune, beware of the last note, it's very loud dun get a shock hor. Enjoy....

Had a relaxing day today. Went out with my family together with me aunt and cousins. Went to eat cafe cartel for lunch. Ordered ribs. Shiok lei. Eat for 30 mins also haven't finish. I eat fast so can imagine the size of those ribs liao. Hehehehe. Then went to catch a movie with my cousins. Cannot watch little man. Sad. My cousins all underaged. NC16 ma. Lol. Then we decided to watch monster house. Wont say the story of the show u all ownself go watch. It's quite a kiddy show, but some parts quite funny. Storyline also quite interesting. Runtime was quite short though 1 and a half hrs show onli. Heard from my cuz that the show had 4 out of 5 stars for ratings. And good news: Spiderman 3 in coming out in May nxt year. Caption frm spiderman3: the greatest battle is frm within... Chim eh? Spiderman 3 is abt venom, should be quite cool. Yeah..

Today was English language and Chinese language paper 1. Woke up a little late today. Alarm clock lagging, must go and re-adjust. While taking the lift down, i remembered that i forgot to take my dictionary so i went up again to get. So muddle-headed. =.= Then english was first. The test was so so. Managed to write quite a lot for my compostion component. Chinese was a little bit more difficult. Was struggling to keep awake during the si han. So borrriiinnngg lor. Then compo topics were of no link. Didnt noe what to write so i cocked up some stuff. English i wrote topic on "communications becoming less effective with technology" and chinese i wrote topic on "teacher-student relationship(as in fren-fren relationship)". Then got back results for term 3. SADDDDD!!!!! L1R5 26 wor. Darn bad. But my both sciences A1. Pro eh?? I think i on the right track liao. Been neglecting math alot. Just catch up a little bit sure can make it de. =) Just finished watching Singapore Idol. Joakim is out. Mwhahahahaa. Sad guy.. But he has a pleasant personality. To all Joakim fans: he did his best liao, u all shld be proud of him =) Mommie bought durians. Yippeee!! Smelly welly durians!! I like the bittersweet taste of durians. It tastes so .. errr .. so.. bittersweet lol. Tomorrow holiday, can recharge and rest and get ready for PRE-LIMS!!! Pre-lims, here i come.... =P

Lol. Today is the wheelbarrow race thing at Tampines Vista, project five-zero(name so corny =X). Took a direct bus from my house bus stop, so convenient. =D Didn't know where to alight though. On the bus to the place were many AH ppl then all of them just waiting for one to alight then the whole gang will follow liao. If alight wrong all die!! Mwhahaha. But in the end nvr alight wrongly. =P We managed to spot the school. Most of the school wearing the anv tee-shirt so colourful, wont miss seeing them one lor. Then we assembled did the lame workout and we waited and waited and waited...... We got bored so me, merfy, wei theng and wei xian played monopoly on the phone. Got into jail twice then in the end own only 2 properties, the rest owned quite a number of properties, after i came out of jail the second time i kept landing on other ppl's properties lor. So sad. But in the end i was the one with the most $$$ cos nvr buy anything ma. Hehehe. Then, the competitors got briefed on the rules of the race and blah blah and the race started. People were squirming about. However the sec 4s were generally faster than the others =D The line up was : [sec 1 girls] [sec 2 girls] [ sec 3 girls] [ sec 4 and 3 boys] [sec 2 boys] [sec 1 boys]. A short while after the race begun, the middle portion which is the sec 4 and 3 boys had already completed the race. Only left the two sides still struggling to complete the race. Some ppl were lagging behind but peserverance is the key to success, all of the competitors managed to complete the race and we did broke the World record!! Yay! Current record for the largest wheelbarrow race: Record held by Anglican High School with 350 pairs taking part in total. After the whole thing went to eat with the sec 4s then go home. Tomorrow is compo prelims so didnt study today. Must save my brain cells for inspiration tomorrow. Haha. Oh ya, sec 4s have a suprise for our juniors after our prelims. Yup, shan't divulge much. Ownself go guess. =)

Finally got ppl come my blog liao ( without advertisement wor). =D Will have more ppl in time to come de. =) Yeah. Pre lims are 14 days away =O Lol. Shocking ya? The days are getting more "typical" liao. Especially weekends. Stay at home, rot, study a little. Sad, no mood to study lei. But this aint the worst to come. I believe nxt week lagi worse. Although it's September "holidays" but ya study holiday lor. Borriinnngg. But for the sake of gd results, must really work hard. Hmmm, weekends did nothing much but one thing cool abt the previous weekend was the screening of Hero. Darn cool show. Though it was a 2004 show, the graphics are ownage! The storyline is very artistic. A fabricated story, the emperor's depiction of the true story and the assasinator's true story. Very cool, very difficult to explain. Go watch it yourself. And it stimulates the left brain (good for musical expression =P). My brother didnt quite understand the show but i like it very much. Only intellectual ppl can understand the show i suppose. Mwhahaha. Alright, today's kinematics and relative velocity test very chim. Nvr study but still remembered relative velocity, forgot abt kinematics though =X Lessons ain't constructive today maybe except for chinese, cos i did maths during chinese =) Oh ya, today took the photo for the yearbook. Dunno how i'll look, nvr go see the photo summore cut hiar liao. Today spent many "last" official periods with many teachers before prelims. Most memorable period was english. Sometime last week was my form teacher cum english teacher, Mrs Ganesan's birthday. Then my class bought a $200 watch for her * so sweet right? * then today cos is her last period and she wanted to repay us so she bought everyone each a pencil case from wallet shop. She must have spent loads of money. Wallet shop leh!! Cool huh? Must really thank Mrs Ganesan for being such a wonderful teacher. Her last period almost reminds me that end of year approaching and I gonna leave AHS liao. Arwwwww... Sad. Ahya, now talk abt leaving still early la, after O levels then say bah. =]

Yay! Finally managed to put the song on my blog. It's a very nice song, very addictive too. I'm addicted to it. Darn. Equation: Rock + Opera + Gay vocals = Bohemian rhapsody.. =.= Ok lame.. But it's a really cool song. Carn really hear it on mozilla firefox though onli internet explorer can. So those using I.E. you're in for a treat! Alright, enough of my blog. Hmmm.. Sometimes i wonder if the human brain ( consisting the hypothalamus, fore & hind-brain, medulla oblongata and the optic lobes) were to be less sophisticated and more simple. Life would be so sweet. Free of corruption, deceit, cunning plots, not devoid of emotions though. People will live in harmony. Yeah but it will not happen. Bump... Nvm. Music sets me thinking =) Alrighty, pre-lims are drawing closer. Die, haven't fully complete my revision must chiong liao. 2 weeks left O.o Shocking but yea... Today lessons were boring(as usual) then after school got e math test. Paper 1 only luckily. Questions were easy but some i still dunnoo, like circle properties, probability and a little transformation. Must revise. Revise, revise, revise. After test, went bandrm. Mrs Chua was apparently teaching the juniors how to use their diaphragm. Lol. Shouldn't the juniors learn earlier by themselves?? Concept very easy. Instead breathing into your lungs and expanding your ribs, u direct the air into your diaphragm. Then as you blow or buzz the air out, push(with your diaphragm going in)!! Boom!! Outburst of air. Yeah. Simple eh? Anyways, some juniors still dun dare to play out or nvr use their air effectively. Dun need scared, just play out. Play wrong just correct lor.. Rmbr the song:

Hey ppl.. Wondering why i revived my blog? I also dunno. Just felt like it lor. But this im gonna keep this a secret. See who realised i revived my blog liao. Shhhhhhhhhhh.
